When you want to remotely control a device on your Schlage LiNK System like a Z-wave-enabled light, lock, or Schlage camera - just send a command using your wireless phone or computer. First, the command travels to your home via the Internet. Then, the Schlage Bridge receives the command through your Internet connection and relays it to your Z-Wave-enabled locks and lights, or other components. And it all happens in just seconds.

Schlage LiNK Interface
With Schlage LiNK, it's easy to take control. Simply log onto the user-friendly interface on your computer or web-enabled phone. With just a few clicks you can turn on and off Z-Wave-enabled lights, lock and unlock doors, see who's accessed the lock and much more.
Setting Up An Account
Setting up an account on the Schlage LiNK web user interface is just as easy as installing the Schlage LiNK System. And the best part is you can add over 200 components onto one interface.
For less than fifty cents a day and no long term contracts, you'll have unlimited remote access to your Schlage LiNK System. With it, you can receive email updates, text messages, remote management tools and all the other benefits your system provides.

- Do I need a wireless network in my home?
No, but you will need a high speed internet connection (cable modem, dsl, etc.)
- What kind of cell phone do I need to have?
Nearly any modern cell phone can receive text alerts from
the Schlage LiNK System. But to take full advantage of the system's features, you'll need a data enabled phone like a BlackBerry or iPhone.
- Do I have to pay to download the software to my phone?
It depends. Some service providers charge a fee, while others don't. To know for sure, you'll need to check with your carrier.
- How far can my Schlage LiNK-enabled devices be from the Schlage Bridge (network device)?
The Schlage Bridge can relay signals up to 100 feet - even through walls. With-out walls in the way, it can broadcast even farther.
- Is it secure?
Like all Schlage products, the Schlage LiNK System is very secure. In fact, it features security measures similar to those used in online banking systems.
- What components can I add to my Schlage LiNK System?
You can choose to add a Z-Wave-enabled light-control module and thermostat, and/or hardwired or wireless Schlage cameras to your system.
- Is there a monthly subscription fee?
Yes there is a subscription fee of $12.99 a month.
